Off-site tours may also be facilitated through Katrin, the manager of the Private Resort Sanctuary Condominiums Office.
Snorkeling
/ Diving: Costa Rica offers great snorkeling that is available right off shore of the local
beach San Juanillo (2 miles south of the resort). Off shore diving tours can also be arranged at the resort office (including
dive certifications). We are personal friends with Mike Paski of www.paskiadventures.com who is a local and can arrange many activities
in Costa Rica and meet you in your private resort condo!
Surfing: Enjoy great surfing in the nearby town of Marbella (about 15-20 min. from the oceanfront condos within the resort). Drive to the world famous beaches in Tamarindo, Costa Rica (about 1 hour drive from your vacation rental) and enjoy shopping, surfing, local arts and crafts and restaurants.
Star Watching: Experience spectacular views of the stars, during your vacation rental, from this unique equatorial viewing vantage point. Star viewing is particular clear given the secluded location of the oceanfront condos of the resort in the north western corner of Costa Rica.
Horse Back Riding: Walk from your vacation rental to ride along the beach of the oceanfront condos, up the rivers and through the forests in the midst of the beautiful ocean side tropical habitat of Costa Rica.
Fishing Trips: Use your vacation rental time to try ocean fishing off the coast near these oceanfront condos. Species in Costa Rica include Bill Fish, Snapper, Rooster Fish, Pacific Blue Marlin, Pacific Sailfish, Dorado, Yellow Fin Tuna. Tours in Costa Rica of varying duration can be organized at the resort office or through our friends at www.paskiadventures.com
Turtle Viewing: You can walk from our private resort condo to the location of www.paskiadventures.com to schedule your trip to view and "hold on to" the sea turtles in Costa Rica during the months of October, November and early December! This is a truly unique experience. At nearby Playa Ostional, hundreds of sea turtles come out of the ocean and nest in the sand in Costa Rica on a daily basis. This is about a 2-2 1/2 hour adventure during which you will get a view of the oceanfront condos from the waters of the Pacific!
Costa Rica Scenic Lookout: Experience spectacular views of the west coast from the top of a local mountain in Costa Rica (near Santa Cruz – less than 1 hour from the oceanfront resort condos). On a clear day, you can see all the way to Nicaragua to the north and Panama to the south.

Canopy Tours: For the thrill seekers, local canopy tours are a great way to
see some fabulous mountain scenery in Costa Rica while getting a major adrenalin rush. Canopy tours can be organized
from the resort tour booking office (usually half day tours from the resort in Tamarindo or Nosara). All day/overnight tours
to the Arenal Vocano and rainforest (that includes suspended bridges, butterfly gardens and 18 ziplines) are once in
a lifetime experiences!
Other Tour Options: Other tour options are also available from
the resort booking office. These include bird watching, eco-tours, whale watching(seasonal), banana and coffee plantation
tours, river tours, and more.

Volcano Tours: Costa Rica has some amazing active volcanoes that you can tour. The Arenal Volcano is the closest volcano to the resort and it has some unique hot springs and baths. Volcano tours are full day from the resort (generally 10-12 hour trips).
